Why This Project? Why These Stories?
Our project explores how race, class, gender, and migration shape lives.
We come from different cultural backgrounds with unique experiences.
We use storytelling to make intersectional feminism feel personal and powerful.
Theory + lived experience = education, resistance, and connection.
What is Intersectional Feminism?
Coined by KimberlĂ© Crenshaw — looks at how overlapping identities (race, gender, class, immigration status) create layered experiences of oppression or privilege.
“If we aren’t intersectional, some of us, the most vulnerable, are going to fall through the cracks.” – KimberlĂ© Crenshaw
